Q. How many driving lessons I need to take in order to pass the ICBC road test?

A. It depends on the individual ability of each student. We have affordable packages that allow you to take enough lessons to feel confident passing your road test.

Q. What if I can’t make it to my scheduled appointment?

A. There is no charge for a lesson that has been cancelled 48 hours prior to your scheduled time.

Q. How long do I get to drive the car during the one hour lesson?

A. Each lesson starts with a 3-5 min introduction and finishes with a 5 min evaluation including an evaluation handout. Your estimated driving training is 50 min/hour.

Q. Do I get a refund for a prepaid package if I decide to quit my training? 

A. For prepaid packages, if for any reason you decide to discontinue your driving training, you will be refunded for the lessons that have not taken place. We will only charge you  for driving lessons that have taken place.

Q. Does renting your vehicle for the road test increase my chances of passing my ICBC road test?

A. You will drive a compact, 2011 automatic, dual control Mazda 3. It is an easy in handling and maneuverable car. Your driving instructor will help you to refresh and improve your driving skills during the pretest warm-up. Most of our students find this vehicle rental highly helpful for the road test.

Please note: if during the pretest our driving instructor finds your driving style unsafe for you to proceed to the road test, we reserve the right to refuse you in renting the vehicle. You will be charged only for the driving lesson and you would have to pay the ICBC road test cancellation fee.
